The Aramoho Whanganui Rowing Club lounge is the ideal spot, overlooking the picturesque Whanganui awa (river) and offering a relaxed atmosphere perfect for any occasion. Whether you're planning a birthday celebration, wedding, milestone event, or even a rowing meet, our lounge provides the perfect backdrop.

Our lounge has hosted a variety of events, including week-long training programs, where teams base themselves at the club for an immersive experience. It's a flexible venue that can cater to both casual and formal events.

Facilities:

  • Access to a fully equipped kitchen

  • Licensed bar option

  • 2 TVs with Chromecast

  • Sound system with mics

  • Heaters for colder months

  • Disability-friendly amenities

  • Chairs/tables

 

Pricing:

  • $150 for up to 4 hours or $350 for a full day

  • Half price for club members' private functions

 

Additional Costs:

  • $300 bond required for all hires

  • Club Bar service available for $300

  • Catering upon request

 

Please note that hirers are expected to clean the venue and remove all rubbish, including the bar area.
