Nielsen Kellerman Masters Regatta 2021
17 of our Mature Rowing fraternity attended this fixture at the start of the month and are pictured above with Olympic bound AWRC Member Chris Harris, and one of our previous Olympians, Ben Hammond. Several composite crews were organised with Union Wanganui, Petone and Clifton Rowing Clubs. Thanks to Des, Brocky and Jacs for co-ordinating the
logistics. Top performer was Brocky who was first in 4 events, and 3rd in his 5th event.
The Masters Novice Women Quad featuring Jane McGympsey in the stroke seat and Tamara Ross in 3, combined with two Clifton Masters in their first foray on Lake Karapiro. They won very comfortably!
